Coles Cranes Ltd was founded in London in 1879 by Henry James Cole.  The company then changed hands and moved several times over in its 100 year history. In 1984 they were taken over by Grove. Coles produced many very successful crane models. Grove took over model range Hydra Husky and adapted some of Coles’ structural design in their rough terrain models.
